Every spring, the Margaret River Region transforms into one of Australia's most inspiring creative destinations as artists throw open the doors to their studios, inviting visitors to step behind the scenes of their creative worlds. The Margaret River Region Open Studios is the largest event of its kind in Australia, offering a rare opportunity to meet artists in their own workspaces, watch demonstrations, hear the stories behind their creations and purchase original artworks directly from the makers. In 2026, the event runs from 12–27 September, featuring more than 150 artists across the region.

From painters and ceramicists to sculptors, photographers, jewellers, textile artists and woodworkers, every studio visit offers something unique. Whether you're an experienced art collector, a creative soul looking for inspiration, or simply someone who enjoys discovering hidden gems, Open Studios is an unforgettable way to experience the Margaret River Region.
