Accessibility Information
As every destination, itinerary, accommodation and travel experience can differ, we encourage you to discuss any accessibility requirements with our team prior to booking so we can help determine the suitability of your chosen travel experience.
Which tour is right for you?
At Villa Carlotta Travel, we are committed to creating travel experiences that are welcoming, inclusive and enjoyable for guests of varying abilities and needs. For travellers requiring a higher level of support, private or customised travel arrangements may be the most suitable option. We encourage all travellers to get in touch with our friendly team prior to booking so we can help determine the suitability of your chosen travel experience.
The information on this page is intended as a general guide only and may vary.
Mobility & Health Requirements
- Accessibility standards vary between destinations, accommodation providers, transportation services and attractions.
- Some itineraries may involve walking, uneven surfaces, stairs, cobblestones, inclines, or extended periods of standing.
- Accessible rooms, mobility equipment and special assistance services are often available but may require advance reservation and are subject to availability.
- If you use a wheelchair, walking aid, scooter, or other mobility equipment, please advise us before booking so we can assess suitability and make appropriate arrangements where possible.
- In some cases, Villa may request a medical clearance from your doctor prior to travel.
- Travellers should ensure they can independently manage the physical requirements of their chosen itinerary or travel with a companion who can provide assistance if required.
Vision & Hearing Requirements
- Many guided tours provide information through live commentary, local guides, audio devices, or written materials, depending on the destination and operator.
- If you have a vision or hearing impairment, please let us know in advance so we can discuss available options and any support services that may be available.
- Accessibility services and assistive technologies vary between destinations and suppliers.
Dietary Requirements
- Most dietary requirements, allergies and food intolerances can be accommodated with advance notice.
- Availability of suitable meal options may vary depending on the destination, accommodation provider, airline, cruise line, or tour operator.
- While suppliers will generally make every effort to accommodate dietary requests, we cannot guarantee allergen-free environments.
- Please advise us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking so appropriate requests can be submitted in advance.
Sensory Sensitivities and Hidden Disabilities
- Some travel experiences may involve busy environments, crowds, varying noise levels, bright lighting, or other sensory stimuli.
- Travellers with sensory sensitivities, chronic health conditions, hidden disabilities, or medical requirements are encouraged to discuss their needs with us before booking.
- Sharing relevant information allows us to provide better advice regarding the suitability of an itinerary and to assist with planning appropriate arrangements where possible.
Planning Your Travel
Our goal is to help every traveller make informed decisions and enjoy a comfortable and rewarding travel experience.
If you, or someone in your travelling party has accessibility requirements, please contact Villa Carlotta Travel prior to booking. We will be happy to discuss your needs and help identify the most suitable travel options available.
Look for the feet
At Villa Carlotta, we grade our tours by fitness and mobility levels to help guests choose experiences that match their comfort and abilities.
On each tour displayed on our website and itineraries, you will find a little foot logo. The highlighted feet indicate the level of activity and physical requirements for each tour, with one foot being the least physically challenging to five foot being the most physically challenging.
