Experience the vibrant art of Margaret River’s Open Studios. Immerse yourself in the creativity of local artists as local makers open their doors to showcase their unique works. Itinerary
Day 1. Perth to Busselton (D)
We will collect you from home for the journey south to Busselton, your home base for this Open Studio experience. Enjoy morning tea of coffee and delicious cake at Café Cherie in Pinjarra, before we travel onto Bunbury for lunch. Arrive in Busselton, walk along the Foreshore and visit the art display at Shelter Brewery. Dinner is served at the Hilton Hotel, so you can relax on the waterfront of Geographe Bay overlooking the iconic Busselton Jetty.
4 Nights: Hilton Garden Inn, Busselton
Day 2. Margaret River produce (BD)
Today we visit local artists in celebration of the Margaret River Open Studio event, tasting some of the delights the region has to offer along the way. Travelling through rolling hills of forests, vineyards and farming country, we visit some of the regions finest destinations for local produce including the award-winning Olio Bello where you will enjoy morning tea while hearing from a local artist. Call in to the incredible Berry Farm and indulge in samples of berry jams, spreads, spices and more. Followed by a visit to The Melting Pot for a glass blowing demonstration, your final artist for the day, before returning to the hotel for the night.
Day 3. Cape Naturaliste (BD)
Start your day with a visit to Yallingup Aboriginal Art, exploring a rich collection of Indigenous artworks and cultural expression. Continue on to the Yallingup Maze for morning tea, a fun and relaxed stop surrounded by nature. Next, enjoy the stunning photographic works at the Christian Fletcher Art Gallery in Dunsborough. In the afternoon, visit the iconic Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse for sweeping ocean views and the chance to spot migrating whales. After a full and inspiring day, return to the hotel to unwind and enjoy a relaxing dinner.
Day 4. Arty Busselton (BD)
The artistry continues today with morning tea at Happs Pottery, where you'll enjoy treats whilst witnessing incredible pottery demonstrations in the artist's workspace, learning the steps of how their beautiful pottery is created. Afterward, delight in lunch at leisure in Busselton, savoring local cuisine. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the captivating ambiance of the Art Geo Complex, exploring diverse artworks and engaging with talented artists. Plus, seize the opportunity to unleash your creativity with a mini painting session led by local artist Merryl from Studio Merlot. This evening, enjoy dinner along the Busselton foreshore.
Day 5. Busselton to Perth (BL)
Relaxed and refreshed from your Margaret River artistic adventures, it is time to bid farewell and head homeward. We stop at Harvey Cheese for a tasting then followed by morning tea. A farewell lunch brings us together for one final occasion in Pinjarra before continuing to Perth where we see you safely home to your door.

Relaxed
Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

For travellers with a high level of fitness and previous outdoor experience. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access. You must be able to walk confidently for 6 or more hours per day over multiple days while carrying a day pack and be comfortable walking in varied weather conditions. Not suitable for travellers using walking aids or requiring assistance.
