Itinerary
Day 1. Journey to the Wheatbelt (LD)
Your adventure begins with courtesy collection from home as you travel north through the picturesque Chittering Valley. Enjoy morning tea at the famous Bindoon Bakehaus before continuing to the historic monastic town of New Norcia for a relaxing lunch. Travelling deeper into the Wheatbelt, arrive in Dalwallinu, known for its vibrant wattle blooms, and settle in for a two night stay.
2 nights: The Wheatland Hotel, Dalwallinu
Day 2. Wildflower Wonders of Dalwallinu (BD)
This morning begins with a guided exploration of the local wildflowers, visiting the Discovery Centre and searching for wattles, orchids and the striking wreath flowers. After lunch at leisure continue with visits to the Wubin Wheatbin Museum and local attractions, gaining insight into the region’s history, character and craft traditions.
Day 3. Travelling the Wildflower Way to Kalbarri (BLD)
Continue north along the Wildflower Way with stops at interpretive sites in Wubin and Perenjori. Enjoy a peaceful picnic lunch in Morawa before travelling through changing Midwest landscapes toward the coast. Arrive in Kalbarri, gateway to spectacular gorges and coastal cliffs, and settle in for the coming days.
2 nights: Kalbarri Edge Resort, Kalbarri
Day 4. Gorges, Coast and Wildflowers of Kalbarri (BLD)
Travel into Kalbarri National Park, home to ancient Murchison River gorges and an abundance of seasonal wildflowers. Walk out onto the Kalbarri Skywalk for breathtaking views before enjoying lunch at the lookout. By afternoon explore coastal wildflower sites along dramatic cliffs before returning to the resort for a relaxed evening.
2 nights: Kalbarri Edge Resort, Kalbarri
Day 5. Southbound to Cervantes (BD)
Depart Kalbarri and visit the striking Pink Lake followed by historic Lynton Station. Continue to Northampton for morning tea then travel to Geraldton for a relaxed lunch. The afternoon takes you through Lesueur National Park, one of the state’s most diverse wildflower regions, before arriving in Cervantes for your final night.
1 night: Cervantes Motel
Day 6. Cervantes to Home (BL)
Enjoy a leisurely start before departing Cervantes and travelling south. Stop in Lancelin for morning tea and continue to Alkimos for lunch at Oceans 27. After a comfortable return drive to Perth your courtesy taxis will deliver you home marking the end of a wonderful wildflower adventure.

Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access.
