Your holiday itinerary (ex Perth, Western Australia)

Day 1. Perth to Sydney (D)
Your island adventure begins with a courtesy collection from home and transfers to Perth Airport for your flight to Sydney. On arrival, transfer to your accommodation near the airport and enjoy a welcome dinner to meet your fellow travellers.
Overnight: Novotel Sydney International Airport, Sydney.

Sydney to Norfolk and Night as a Convict (BD)
Transfer to Sydney International Airport and board your direct flight to Norfolk Island. Upon arrival, breathe in the fresh island air as you settle into your centrally located resort in Burnt Pine. Start your time off in Norfolk with a fun evening with the "Night as a Convict" experience, where participants can dress in costume and enjoy an immersive theatrical dinner. This engaging event provides a fun and memorable insight to the island's colonial history.
Seven nights: South Pacific Resort, Norfolk Island.

Day 3. Introduction, Hills Restaurant, Cyclorama (BLD)
Enjoy a half-day introduction and orientation tour this morning of the beautiful Island of Norfolk. The tour shares key features of the island’s historical, cultural and natural highlights including their unique language (Norf’k) and customs. For lunch we visit one of Norfolk Island’s most exceptional fine dining restaurant at Hilli’s. Revel in a welcoming atmosphere as you select culinary delights from a wide variety of cuisines. Day 4. Sunday Markets & Convict Settlement Tour, Ferny Lane Theatre (BD)
In the morning mingle with the locals at Norfolk’s Sunday Markets for a chat, a wonder or some shopping. After lunch at your leisure, join us on an in-depth tour of the Kingston and Arthur's Vale Historic Area (KAVHA) and immerse yourself in the fascinating history of this World Heritage Listed Georgian settlement. Our expert guides will lead you through the living showcase of Polynesian, convict and Pitcairn Islander history, where you'll discover the stories behind the colonial headstones in the cemetery and the beautiful historic houses on Quality Row. Day 5. Glass bottom boat, Women of Norfolk, Barney Duffy BBQ and Wonderland by Night. (BLD)
Embark on a memorable glass-bottom boat cruise this morning, gliding over coral gardens and spotting colourful tropical fish in crystal-clear waters. In the afternoon, join a Women of Norfolk tour and hear the inspiring stories of the island’s strong female figures — Olivia Gascoigne, Aunt Selina Buffet and Marie Bailey — whose legacies continue to shape Norfolk’s community today. Tonight, enjoy a hearty island barbecue before venturing into the glowing Wonderland by Night. Follow a softly lit forest trail beneath towering pines as a descendant of the Bounty mutineers shares poetry and stories of island life in this truly magical setting.

Day 6. Pitcairns Settlers Village and Island Fish Fry (BD)
This morning, step back in time at Pitcairn Settlers Village. Explore original buildings and learn about the settlers’ journey from Pitcairn Island to Norfolk. In the evening, join one of Norfolk’s most iconic events — the Island Fish Fry. Savour freshly caught fish and local dishes overlooking the ocean cliffs while enjoying live music and island dancing performed by the Baunti Byuutis.

Day 7. Breakfast Bush Walk and Progressive Dinner (BD)
Begin the day with a peaceful bushwalk through Norfolk’s native forest, finishing at a clifftop breakfast barbecue with panoramic ocean views. The rest of the day is yours to relax or explore at leisure. Tonight, experience the warmth of Norfolk hospitality with a three-course Progressive Dinner. Visit island family homes, enjoy delicious home-cooked meals and share in the heartfelt stories of your hosts.

Day 8. Paddock to Plate (BD)
Today’s Paddock to Plate tour showcases the island’s local farms and passionate producers. Meet farmers, learn about sustainable practices and sample delicious local fare fresh from the source.

Day 9. House #10 and Homeward bound. (B)
In the morning visit House #10. Built in 1844 for the Foreman of Works during the height of the infamous Second British Settlement it is now a museum for you to experience the Colonial Architecture and manicured gardens. Later, you will be transferred to the airport for your afternoon flight back to Sydney, then onward to Perth. Upon arrival we will see you safely home.

Look out for the feet when reading about a tour!

  • Relaxed

    Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

  • Moderate

    For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

  • Active

    For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

  • Highly Active

    Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

  • Challenging

    For travellers with a high level of fitness and previous outdoor experience. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access. You must be able to walk confidently for 6 or more hours per day over multiple days while carrying a day pack and be comfortable walking in varied weather conditions. Not suitable for travellers using walking aids or requiring assistance.
