Itinerary

Your holiday itinerary (ex Perth, Western Australia)

Day 1. Perth to Pemberton (D)
We collect you from home and transfer you to the coach for the journey south. Following the Harvest Highway, pass the quaint rural towns of Donnybrook, Balingup, Bridgetown and Manjimup and stop along the way for morning tea and lunch. Arrive to Pemberton enjoy a relaxing dinner at your hotel as you get settled and unpack for your holiday.
Four nights: The Pemberton Hotel, Pemberton.

Day 2. Pemberton icons (BD)
This morning, we visit breathtaking Beedelup Falls and the towering Bicentennial Tree, the tallest of two old fire lookout’s standing 246ft high. Board the Pemberton Tram to travel through deep forests and picturesque countryside as you reflect on the history of the timber railways. Following a leisurely lunch in Pemberton, visit the Pioneer Museum to learn about the lives of the first pioneers and view interesting displays of memorabilia. After a day of forest adventures, retreat to your hotel where dinner will be served for the evening.

Day 3. Walpole wilderness (BD)
Step aboard the Rainbow Lady in Walpole for a morning tea cruise across the scenic Nornalup Inlet. Wander through Walpole and find a delicious lunch of your choice, then sit back and relax this afternoon, as we travel through the spectacular Valley of the Giants, which features grand examples of mighty tingle and karri trees. Walk through the forest’s canopy on the world-renowned tree top walk and wander along the boardwalks through this ancient empire of tall tingle trees. Relax for the evening, sharing and reflecting on the incredible memories of the treetops and cruise of your day.

Day 4. Manjimup Cherry Harmony Festival (BD)
Delight your senses at Manjimup Cherry Festival, explore the sweetest range of fresh produce bursting with flavour and cherries of course! Immerse yourself amongst the diversity of the horticultural industry of the Manjimup region and surrounds. Indulge in an exquisite lunch of your choice at the festival as we prepare for an afternoon of leisurely cruising through the incredible south west region.

Day 5. Homeward bound via Bridgetown (BL)
Today you will receive the treat you have been waiting for - a kilogram of fresh, premium Donnybrook cherries! Tour through Bridgetown, enjoy a farewell lunch and relax on your journey to Perth where our courtesy small charter vehicle will deliver you safely home.

With such a diverse collection of travel options, we want to ensure you choose the right holiday for you.


Our tour activity levels are a guide to the required fitness level for each of our holidays.


Look out for the feet when reading about a tour!

  • Relaxed

    Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

  • Moderate

    For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

  • Active

    For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

  • Highly Active

    Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

  • Challenging

    For travellers with a high level of fitness and previous outdoor experience. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access. You must be able to walk confidently for 6 or more hours per day over multiple days while carrying a day pack and be comfortable walking in varied weather conditions. Not suitable for travellers using walking aids or requiring assistance.
