Itinerary
Day 1. Perth to Pemberton (D)
We collect you from home and transfer you to the coach. Following the Harvest Highway, we will visit Amaze Miniature Park on our way through the rural towns of Donnybrook, Balingup, Bridgetown and Manjimup.
Three nights: The Pemberton Hotel, Pemberton.
Day 2. Pemberton Tramway (BD)
Begin your morning in tranquillity at the breathtaking Beedelup Falls, take it all in before being dwarfed by the incredible Bicentennial Tree towering over us. This is the tallest of two fire lookout trees in the area. Later in the morning, board the Pemberton Tram for a scenic rail journey through forests and picturesque countryside as you reflect on the history of the timber railways. Enjoy lunch in the heart of Pemberton before you discover the Pemberton Artscape, find unique balustrading featuring forest images by local artists. Continue to uncover the history of the Pemberton township, spend your time at the Pioneer Museum, Model Railway Club or Fine Woodcraft Gallery. Find your favourite place to fully immerse yourself in the art and history on this quaint streetscape called Pemberton.
Day 3. Manjimup history and Donnelly River (BLD)
Today, we embark on a relaxing and informative cruise along the Donnelly River. Pause in the expansive gardens of Dingup House for lunch, a heritage homestead with over 150 years of history, perched in the Southern Forest region of Manjimup. Be charmed by feeding the chooks and local animals before returning to our coach where a local guide will join us for the afternoon. Together we tour Manjimup’s Timber & Heritage Park and the township of Manjimup, learning all the history on offer.
Day 4. Pemberton to Perth (BL)
Travel through the quaint towns of Nannup and Balingup on the journey back to Perth, before enjoying a farewell lunch at Waroona’s Drakesbrook Hotel. Upon arrival in Perth we will see you safely home.
