This Easter join us on a spectacular six-day holiday to the exquisite destination of Esperance. Take in rolling rural vistas and the ruggedly beautiful great southern coastline. See Western Australia’s famous Wave Rock in Hyden before travelling to the crystal-clear waters home to Cape Le Grand National Park. Visit the full-sized replica of Stonehenge and enjoy a scenic cruise through the islands of the unique Recherche Archipelago.
Itinerary
Day 1. Hyden and Wave Rock (D)
Following collection from home to our coach, enjoy the changing landscapes as we travel inland. Experience a section of the Tin Horse Highway en route to Hyden and the wonderous Wave Rock to see this natural rock formation in its entirety.
Overnight: Wave Rock Motel, Hyden.
Day 2. Hyden to Esperance (BLD)
Following an early start, we continue towards the coastline, travelling through the Ravenswood Ranges and Lake King district as we traverse the fringe of the vast wheat and sheep country. The Fitzgerald National Park is where we enjoy some free time and a picnic lunch before our arrival in Esperance.
Three nights: Comfort Bay of Isles, Esperance.
Day 3. Cape Le Grand National Park and Stonehenge (BLD)
Today you will experience one of Western Australia’s most spectacular National Parks, Cape Le Grand is known for its stunning scenery, unspoilt beaches and diverse flora and fauna! After an incredible morning, we will head to Esperance’s full-sized replica Stonehenge before we pause for lunch in the serene gardens of the Esperance Bird and Animal Park. Relax under the shady trees for a unique Easter luncheon experience.
Day 4. Easter Sunday Woody Island Cruise (BLD)
Celebrate Easter with the outstanding scenery of the islands of the Recherche Archipelago and view the abundant wildlife on an informative scenic cruise to Woody Island. On the island we are treated to a barbecue lunch from the crew, feast and learn more of the unique and untamed nature. Keep your eyes peeled for a chance to see dolphins, seals and sea lions at play. Back on land, an afternoon of touring aboard the coach awaits! See Observatory Point and Rotary Lookout.
Day 5. Esperance to Hyden (BD)
Today make the journey from Esperance to Hyden. Visit Hopetoun and take a short trip along the Hamersley Drive for breathtaking views of the coastline. Then take in Ravensthorpe’s local history and view the vibrant silo art.
Overnight: Wave Rock Motel, Hyden.
Day 6. Hyden to Perth (BL)
Today we begin the return journey to Perth. Visit the Pioneer Museum and Dog Cemetery in Corrigin before celebrating with a farewell lunch in Beverley. Upon arrival in Perth, we will see you safely home.

Relaxed
Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

Moderate
For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

For travellers with a high level of fitness and previous outdoor experience. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access. You must be able to walk confidently for 6 or more hours per day over multiple days while carrying a day pack and be comfortable walking in varied weather conditions. Not suitable for travellers using walking aids or requiring assistance.
