Shark Bay, Monkey Mia and the Pinnacles under the stars

Discover a lesser-seen side of the Coral Coast and Shark Bay on this seven-day journey through history, wildlife and outback night skies. Explore the heritage towns of Dongara and Greenough, pay tribute at the HMAS Sydney II Memorial in Geraldton and travel north to Denham, gateway to Shark Bay. Spend a full day on remote Dirk Hartog Island, watch wild dolphins come into the shallows at Monkey Mia and see the ancient stromatolites of Hamelin Pool. On the way home, enjoy a sunset BBQ dinner and stargazing in the Pinnacles Desert. This tour offers a wonderful mix of coastal scenery, local history, wildlife and new friendships.

Day 4. Denham – Dirk Hartog Island (BLD)
Today step off the mainland for a fully hosted day on Dirk Hartog Island. Enjoy a gourmet lunch and warm homestead hospitality, with a gin and tonic in the afternoon, before returning to Denham for dinner.
Day 5. Denham – Monkey Mia and Shark Bay (BLD)
Rise early for Monkey Mia to watch wild dolphins swim into the shallows for the famous dolphin feeding experience. Back in Denham, visit the Shark Bay Interpretive Centre to learn about this World Heritage-listed region, followed by morning tea.
