Find yourself in a land of natural beauty on this four-day Cervantes spring sojourn. Travel through landscapes rich in seasonal colour, exploring Lesueur and Badgingarra National Parks with an expert wildflower guide. Wander through a sanctuary of wildlife, salt lakes and rugged hills then step into the otherworldly Pinnacles Desert to admire its remarkable limestone formations. With coastal breezes, scenic drives and peaceful moments in nature this getaway offers a refreshing taste of Western Australia’s wildflower season.
Itinerary
Day 1. Perth to Cervantes (D)
We collect you from home and travel north to Gingin for a guided wildflower walk at the Gravity Discovery Centre. Continue to Lancelin where you may enjoy lunch at leisure before travelling on to Cervantes. This afternoon visit the Pinnacles Desert Discovery Centre to learn about the geological and cultural significance of these world famous formations before arriving at your hotel for the evening.
3 nights: Cervantes Pinnacles Motel, Cervantes
Day 2. Guided Wildflower Tour – Lesueur National Park (BLD)
Today we venture into Lesueur National Park with our wildflower guide. Home to more than 820 species this region is a haven for enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Enjoy a peaceful picnic lunch surrounded by flowering shrubs and striking landscapes. After lunch continue exploring the botanical richness of the park pausing at lookouts and salt lakes to take in the sweeping views and diverse plant life.
Day 3. Guided Wildflower Tour – Badgingarra National Park (BD)
This morning explore Badgingarra National Park where low scrub, vivid wildflowers and rugged terrain create a fascinating environment. Keep watch for native reptiles and birds as you wander with your guide to scenic vantage points and hidden pockets of vegetation. After your morning discoveries enjoy lunch at leisure in Jurien Bay. During the afternoon visit the Cervantes Museum before ending the day with an outdoor display of sculptural art.
Day 4. Cervantes to Perth (BL)
Depart Cervantes and travel south through quiet country roads stopping in Moora for a farewell lunch shared with new friends. Upon returning to Perth your courtesy transfer will take you safely home.

Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. For travellers with a high level of fitness and previous outdoor experience. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access. You must be able to walk confidently for 6 or more hours per day over multiple days while carrying a day pack and be comfortable walking in varied weather conditions. Not suitable for travellers using walking aids or requiring assistance.
