Travel from the turquoise shores of Cervantes to the dramatic gorges and coastal cliffs of Kalbarri enjoying expert-led wildflower exploration along the way. Walk among the ancient Pinnacles of Nambung National Park discover the extraordinary diversity of Lesueur National Park and immerse yourself in Kalbarri National Park where wildflowers thrive alongside deep river gorges and rugged coastal scenery. With specialist guides relaxed touring and stunning natural landscapes this journey is a must for nature lovers.
Itinerary
Day 1. Perth to Cervantes – Wildflowers and Pinnacles (D)
Depart Perth and travel north to Gingin where you enjoy a guided wildflower experience at the Gravity Discovery Centre. Continue to the coastal town of Lancelin for lunch at leisure before heading to Nambung National Park to walk among the extraordinary limestone formations of the Pinnacles. Arrive in Cervantes and settle in for the next two nights.
2 nights: Cervantes Pinnacles Motel Cervantes
Day 2. Lesueur National Park – A Wildflower Wonderland (BLD)
Spend the day exploring Lesueur National Park with a specialist wildflower guide. This internationally recognised hotspot is home to hundreds of flowering plant species many found nowhere else. Enjoy walking and viewing opportunities throughout the park followed by a picnic-style lunch in natural surrounds before returning to Cervantes for a relaxed evening.
Day 3. Cervantes to Kalbarri – Coral Coast Journey (BD)
Farewell Cervantes and travel north along the Coral Coast passing through Dongara Geraldton and Northampton. Along the way admire striking coastal and inland scenery including the vivid colours of Hutt Lagoon Pink Lake. Arrive in Kalbarri where dramatic landscapes and wildflower displays await.
2 nights: Kalbarri Edge Resort Kalbarri
Day 4. Kalbarri National Park and Coastal Wildflowers (BLD)
Today is dedicated to exploring Kalbarri National Park with a specialist wildflower guide. Discover seasonal blooms set against the ancient Murchison River gorges before continuing to Kalbarri’s rugged coastline. Clifftop lookouts and coastal wildflower displays provide wonderful photographic opportunities in this spectacular natural setting.
Day 5. Kalbarri to Perth – Farewell to the Wildflowers (BL)
Begin the journey south through pastoral landscapes and country towns. Enjoy a farewell lunch in Moora before continuing to Perth where you will be met and taken safely home.

Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access.
