Join us for a fun-filled five-day holiday in the picturesque Blackwood Valley, where quaint towns will shine bright with autumn festivities. Sample local produce, experience the splendour of a garden party in a beautiful heritage estate, explore charming villages and put your best sleuth hat on for our fun murder mystery evening.
Itinerary
Day 1. Perth to Bridgetown (LD)
We collect you from home and transfer you to our coach. Travel to the arts hub of Pinjarra for some morning tea at Edenvale Heritage Precinct before touring through Waroona Showgrounds Murals and Harvey Dam. Pause for lunch at the replica Stirling Cottage and admire the tranquil Harvey River and beautifully landscaped heritage gardens. In the afternoon we will continue our journey to the rolling hills of Bridgetown.
Four nights: Nelsons of Bridgetown, Bridgetown.
Day 2. Beautiful Bridgetown (BD)
Begin your morning at the Bridgetown Visitor Centre, view a unique jigsaw puzzle gallery and a heritage display that depicts the timber industry. Take a tour of the beautiful gardens, buildings and elegant rooms of Ford House, wandering the gardens and browse the emporium’s range of gifts. Enjoy lunch at your leisure in Bridgetown, then gain a compelling insight into the Old Police Station and Historical Society before we enjoy a delicious dinner at the refurbished federation Bridgetown Hotel.
Day 3. Boyup Brook (BLD)
View beetles, butterflies and kradle dolls at the Boyup Brook Visitor Centre, before heading to the Boyup Brook District Pioneers’ Museum to learn of the area’s history. Before we head off for lunch, we stop at the Harvey Dickson Music Centre to learn about the history of country and western music and rodeos. After, enjoy a delicious lunch and experience the taste of freshly crushed apples with Boyup Brooks local cider at The Cidery.
Day 4. Autumn garden party and Murder Mystery (BLD)
This morning, visit Chestnut Brae for morning tea, then the treat you have been waiting for! A fabulous garden party lunch will be served at Loose Goose Chalets. Afterwards, we will take a drive along the stunning Nannup-Balingup Tourist Route and visit the Greenbushes Discovery Centre. For the final hoorah, we come together for an evening of dress ups, drinks and murder mystery.
Day 5. Bridgetown to Perth (BL)
Bid farewell to Bridgetown and head back to Perth, stopping on the way at The Cut in Mandurah for a farewell lunch. Upon arrival in Perth we will see you safely home.

Relaxed
Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

Moderate
For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

For travellers with a high level of fitness and previous outdoor experience. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access. You must be able to walk confidently for 6 or more hours per day over multiple days while carrying a day pack and be comfortable walking in varied weather conditions. Not suitable for travellers using walking aids or requiring assistance.
