This tall timbers forest getaway blends the best of picturesque Pemberton with the wilderness of Walpole found deep in the Great Southern Region of WA. Prepare to be wowed and entertained cruising on the Walpole and Nornalup inlets before you transcend 40m above the forest floor at the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk. View the breathtaking bays and the wild Southern Ocean, as you indulge in gourmet produce and wineries, sampling endless local offerings.
Itinerary
Day 1. Perth to Walpole (D)
We collect you from home and transfer you to the luxury coach. Enjoy morning tea in Pinjarra and a relaxing lunch stop in the Bunbury region before continuing through the scenic towns of Balingup and Bridgetown. Arrive in Walpole and settle in for a night amongst the treetops.
Overnight: Treetop Walk Motel, Walpole
Day 2. Denmark Countryside (BLD)
Today we explore the spectacular Great Southern region, starting with morning tea at The Good Food Co in Denmark. Enjoy coastal views at Greens Pool before a delicious lunch at The Lake House. Later, we visit the Recollections of War collection and wind down with a scenic drive around Peaceful Bay.
Overnight: Treetop Walk Motel, Walpole
Day 3. Walpole Wilderness (BD)
Begin your day with a magical WOW Wilderness Cruise through the Walpole and Nornalup Inlets Marine Park. After lunch at your leisure, ascend through the canopy on the Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk. We then continue to Pemberton where we check in and enjoy dinner.
4 nights: The Pemberton Hotel, Pemberton
Day 4. Scenic Pemberton and Northcliffe (BD)
This morning takes us to Beedelup Falls and the towering karri trees of Gloucester and Bicentennial Tree National Parks. After morning tea, board the Pemberton Tramway for a scenic heritage ride through forested valleys. In the afternoon, explore the Northcliffe Visitor Centre, gallery, and Pioneer Museum before a scenic drive to Windy Harbour.
Day 5. Delicious Delights in Manjimup (BD)
Discover the region’s past at the expansive Manjimup Heritage Park, then enjoy free time for lunch in town. In the afternoon, we visit Truffle Hill to savour their premium truffle-infused offerings with a guided tasting session.
Day 6. Pemberton to Perth (BL)
We journey through Nannup and Balingup on our way back to Perth, with a farewell lunch at the Drakesbrook Hotel in Waroona. On arrival in Perth, courtesy vehicles will see you safely home.

Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. For travellers with a high level of fitness and previous outdoor experience. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access. You must be able to walk confidently for 6 or more hours per day over multiple days while carrying a day pack and be comfortable walking in varied weather conditions. Not suitable for travellers using walking aids or requiring assistance.
