Experience the outstanding Margaret River Wine Region on this wonderful holiday. Travel through the countryside and enjoy the contrasting views of beaches, forests and vineyards. Spend your days sampling gourmet produce among vineyards and see incredible vantage points along the beautiful Cape Naturaliste National Park. Retreat in the beautiful Geographe Bay, home to the City of Busselton, looking out to the famous 1.8km long Busselton Jetty.
Itinerary
Day 1. Perth to Busselton (D)
We collect you from home, then it is off to meet your coach crew and fellow passengers. Enjoy a morning cuppa at Amaze Miniature Park before we stop for lunch at leisure in Bunbury. Arrive into Busselton and relax into your resort for the evening, watching the sunset over Geographe Bay.
Overnight each night: Hilton Garden Inn, Busselton
Day 2. Busselton Jetty Underwater Observatory (BD)
Today we visit one of Western Australia’s most famous attractions, the Busselton Jetty. Enjoy a train ride out on the longest timber-piled jetty in the Southern Hemisphere to view the spectacular array of marine species at the Underwater Observatory. In the afternoon, you are free to relax at the resort or explore the bustling Busselton Foreshore.
Day 3. Cape Naturaliste and Dunsborough (BD)
Delight in the handcrafted lavender essential oils, skin and body products in Yallingup at the Cape Lavender Tearooms, all whilst enjoying Devonshire Tea. Journey on to the Cape Naturaliste Lighthouse, where breathtaking panoramic views of the Indian Ocean, Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park and Geographe Bay await. Lunch is at your leisure in Dunsborough, followed by a visit to the iconic Simmo’s Ice Creamery.
Day 4. Margaret River Wine Region (BD)
Travel through rolling hills of forests, vineyards and farming country as we prepare to sample some of the region’s finest local produce at Olio Bello, a boutique award-winning producer of olive oil with a tasting room of gourmet delights. Later, be immersed in abundant birdlife at Eagles Heritage Park before wandering the Margaret River town strip for a bite to eat. Next up, the Margaret River Chocolate Factory, where endless tastings await you! More sampling follows at Providore Margaret River, with its array of homemade jams, sauces, spice mixes and liqueurs. Tonight, enjoy dinner and entertainment at a local Busselton restaurant..
Day 5. Busselton to Perth (BL)
Head home via the Harvest Highway, with plentiful cheese tastings along the way. Travel through the charming rural towns of Brunswick Junction and Harvey. A farewell lunch at the Drakesbrook Hotel brings us together for one final occasion before continuing to Perth where we see you safely home to your door.

Relaxed
Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

Moderate
For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

For travellers with a high level of fitness and previous outdoor experience. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access. You must be able to walk confidently for 6 or more hours per day over multiple days while carrying a day pack and be comfortable walking in varied weather conditions. Not suitable for travellers using walking aids or requiring assistance.
