Itinerary
Day 1. Perth to Kununurra (D)
Our courtesy taxis will collect you from home and transfer you to Perth Airport for your flight to Kununurra. On arrival, your coach captain will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation. Tonight, gather with fellow travellers for a relaxing dinner at your hotel.

Day 2. Kununurra and the Ord River Irrigation System (BLD)
Begin with a guided tour of Kununurra and the impressive Ord River Irrigation System before travelling to Lake Argyle, the largest manmade lake in the Southern Hemisphere. Visit the historic Durack Homestead and take in sweeping views from a scenic lookout. Later, enjoy a remarkable wildlife cruise down the Ord River, where you may spot freshwater crocodiles, wallabies, and some of the 240 bird species found in the region. Return to Kununurra for dinner.
Day 3. Kununurra at Leisure (BD)
Today is free to relax or choose from a range of optional tours. You may wish to join an excursion to the Bungle Bungles, El Questro, or Emma Gorge, or take a helicopter flight for an unforgettable perspective of the Kimberley. However you spend your day, enjoy dinner with the group back at your hotel this evening.
Day 4. Kununurra Museum, Waringarri Arts & Dinner Under the Stars (BLD)
This morning, explore the Kununurra Museum, which tells the story of the Ord Irrigation Project and the rich fossil record of the Kimberley. Continue to Waringarri Aboriginal Arts Centre for a guided tour and cultural experience led by local Miriwoong people. Afterward, enjoy a tasting and lunch at the iconic Hoochery Distillery, home to the oldest operating still in Western Australia. Later, experience a true Kimberley highlight – a four-course ‘Gourmet Camp Oven Experience’ served under the stars in a breathtaking outback setting, surrounded by boab trees and rugged red cliffs.
Day 5. Kununurra to Perth (B)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Perth. Upon arrival, our courtesy small charter vehicle will deliver you safely home, marking the end of your Kimberley adventure.

Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

For travellers with a high level of fitness and previous outdoor experience. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access. You must be able to walk confidently for 6 or more hours per day over multiple days while carrying a day pack and be comfortable walking in varied weather conditions. Not suitable for travellers using walking aids or requiring assistance.
