Arrive in Amsterdam and transfer to your hotel. Settle in and enjoy a welcome dinner with your fellow travellers.
2 nights: Inntel Hotel Amsterdam
Day 2. Amsterdam at leisure (BD)
Ease into the European time zone with a relaxed day to explore canals, museums or a gentle canal cruise. Join your group this evening for dinner.
Day 3. Embark Rotterdam in Rotterdam (BLD)
After breakfast travel to Rotterdam to embark Holland America’s Rotterdam. Unpack once and make yourself at home as the ship sets sail.

Day 4. At sea (BLD)
Enjoy a relaxing day as you discover dining venues, entertainment and open decks. Settle into the rhythm of life at sea.
Day 5. Inverness, Scotland (BLD)
Call at the Highland capital, rich in Scottish and Celtic history. Choose from shore options that may include castles, distilleries or a visit to Loch Ness.
Day 6. At sea (BLD)
Sail north toward Iceland. Join a talk, catch a show or simply watch the horizon from the promenade.
Day 7. Seyðisfjörður, Iceland (BLD)
Arrive in a colourful fjord-side town ringed by lush valleys and waterfalls. Wander the Blue Church and artist studios or join an excursion inland.
Day 8. Scenic cruising Seyðisfjörður (BLD)
Glide between snowcapped ranges and black-sand coves. Watch for seals and seabirds including puffins and arctic terns.
Day 9. Ísafjörður, Iceland (BLD)
A Westfjords hub with small-town charm set beneath steep mountains. Optional visits include Dynjandi waterfall or seabird-rich Látrabjarg cliffs. Tender required.
Day 10. Cruising Ísafjarðardjúp (BLD)
Sail a grand fjord carved by ice where green slopes meet deep blue water. Pass fishing hamlets and working boats heading to sea.
Day 11. Reykjavík, Iceland (BLD)
The world’s most northerly capital brims with culture and geothermal wonders. Options include city touring, hot pools, whale watching or the Golden Circle.

Runavík is the largest settlement on Eysturoy Island. This seaside town is nestled along the Skálafjørður fjord. Surrounded by several mountains, this is a Beautiful fjord and the deepest in the Faroe Islands.

At sea cruising down the East Coast of Scotland.
Day 16. South Queensferry for Edinburgh, Scotland (BLD)
Explore Edinburgh’s medieval closes and Georgian avenues. Visit the castle, St Margaret’s Chapel, the National Museum or the National Galleries. Alternatively choose a Glasgow day visit with modern culture and design.
Day 17. Disembark Rotterdam and homeward (B)
Disembark in Rotterdam and transfer for your flight home with memories of bright northern nights and magnificent coasts.

Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

For travellers with a high level of fitness and previous outdoor experience. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access. You must be able to walk confidently for 6 or more hours per day over multiple days while carrying a day pack and be comfortable walking in varied weather conditions. Not suitable for travellers using walking aids or requiring assistance.
