Watch Phantom of the Opera ignite Sydney Harbour on a grand open-air stage, with skyline views and fireworks to match. Across five days you will tour the Opera House, wander harbourside icons and cruise the glittering waterways. A scenic day south takes in Royal National Park and the sweeping Sea Cliff Bridge. Evenings bring relaxed dinners and time to savour Darling Harbour at your own pace.
Itinerary
Day 1. Perth to Sydney (D)
We collect you from home and transfer you to the airport for your journey to Sydney. On arrival, meet your coach captain and settle into your Darling Harbour hotel. Gather this evening for a welcome dinner.
4 nights: Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour
Day 2. Opera House, harbour icons and cruise (BD)
Begin with a guided tour of the Sydney Opera House. Continue to Mrs Macquarie’s Chair for classic harbour views, then explore the Art Gallery of NSW. Enjoy lunch at leisure in the Queen Victoria Building before a relaxed sightseeing cruise on Sydney Harbour. Dine tonight along the waterfront.
Day 3. Royal National Park and Grand Pacific Drive (BLD)
Head south to the world’s second-oldest national park. Follow the Grand Pacific Drive through coastal rainforest and seaside villages, crossing the photogenic Sea Cliff Bridge. Enjoy a delicious lunch en route. Return to Sydney for a relaxed evening meal.
Day 4. Free time and Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour (BD)
A free morning invites you to visit the Chinese Garden, the Maritime Museum or stroll to Barangaroo. Late afternoon, travel to Mrs Macquarie’s Point for Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour. Settle into premium seats for Phantom of the Opera under the stars, framed by bridge and skyline. Pre-show dinner included.
Day 5. Sydney to Perth (B)
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before transferring to the airport for your journey home. On arrival in Perth, we will see you safely home.

Relaxed
Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

For travellers with a high level of fitness and previous outdoor experience. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access. You must be able to walk confidently for 6 or more hours per day over multiple days while carrying a day pack and be comfortable walking in varied weather conditions. Not suitable for travellers using walking aids or requiring assistance.
