Itinerary
Day 1. Hyden and Wave Rock (D)
We collect you from home and travel inland through WA’s charming Wheatbelt. Pause for morning tea in Brookton before journeying via the quirky Tin Horse Highway. In the afternoon, visit the iconic Wave Rock—one of Australia’s most extraordinary natural formations—before settling in for the night in Hyden.
Overnight: Wave Rock Motel, Hyden
Day 2. Hyden to Esperance (BLD)
Today we continue towards the coast, travelling through the Lake King region and along the fringes of the Fitzgerald River National Park. Enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch before arriving in Esperance, where you will be welcomed by its breathtaking beaches and relaxed seaside town atmosphere.
3 nights: Comfort Bay of Isles, Esperance
Day 3. Cape Le Grand and Easter Luncheon (BLD)
This morning, explore the pristine shores and rugged headlands of Cape Le Grand National Park. Continue to Esperance Stonehenge, a life-sized replica of the ancient wonder. We then gather for a relaxing buffet lunch among the shady trees at the Esperance Bird & Animal Park—an ideal Easter celebration surrounded by nature.
Day 4. Easter Sunday on Woody Island (BLD)
Celebrate Easter Sunday with a scenic cruise across the Recherche Archipelago to Woody Island. This eco-tour offers wildlife encounters, panoramic views, and a barbecue lunch served by the crew. Keep your eyes peeled for sea lions, dolphins and seabirds. After returning to shore, enjoy a relaxing afternoon drive to Observatory Point, the Wind Farm, and other scenic lookouts.
Day 5. Esperance to Hyden via Ravensthorpe (BD)
Depart Esperance and travel through Hopetoun, enjoying spectacular coastal views along the way. Stop at Barons Beach for morning tea before visiting Ravensthorpe’s colourful silo art and exploring its historic town centre. Arrive in Hyden for your final overnight stay.

Day 6. Hyden to Perth (BL)
Begin your journey home with visits to the Corrigin Dog Cemetery and Pioneer Museum. Share your favourite memories over a farewell lunch at the Bedford Arms Hotel in Brookton before arriving in Perth, where your courtesy vehicle will return you safely home.

Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

For travellers with a high level of fitness and previous outdoor experience. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access. You must be able to walk confidently for 6 or more hours per day over multiple days while carrying a day pack and be comfortable walking in varied weather conditions. Not suitable for travellers using walking aids or requiring assistance.
