Itinerary
Perth to Adelaide (D)
We collect you from home and transfer you to Perth Airport for your midday flight to Adelaide. Upon arrival, settle into your accommodation before coming together for a welcome dinner at the hotel.
Overnight: Majestic Roof Garden Hotel, Adelaide
Day 2. Adelaide and the Murray Princess (BD)
Begin your day with a sweet visit to Haigh’s Chocolates and a stroll through the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. Explore the vibrant Adelaide Central Market before transferring to Mannum to board the grand PS Murray Princess. As the cruise begins, enjoy pre-dinner drinks (own expense), meet the friendly crew and our onboard entertainer Dave Freeman and enjoy his first music set over dinner as we cruise to Murray Bridge.
3 nights: PS Murray Princess
Day 3. Murray Bridge, Monarto Zoo and Country Cruisin’ Music Show (BLD)
Wake up in Murray Bridge, where you can explore the historic town or choose an optional wildlife tour at Monarto Safari Park*. Enjoy lunch onboard before continuing to Salt Bush Flat. This evening, enjoy Dave’s “Country Cruisin’” show featuring country classics from artists like Glen Campbell, Willie Nelson and Elvis.
*Optional tour: Monarto Safari Park Wildlife Tour. Pre-bookings are essential, additional cost $80 per person. Please advise at time of booking if you wish to include.
Please note: Your day ticket to Melbourne International Flower Show allows “leave and come back” in one day. If you wish to visit during the day, please ask your Tour Leader for a ticket. Additional please see security guard on the way out to get a pass out/stamp.
Day 4. Murray River cruising and wildlife (BLD)
After breakfast, join a guided nature walk at Salt Bush Flat before reboarding for more leisurely river cruising. A local food and wine tasting will delight your senses during lunch. Later, take a unique riverboat eco-excursion near Piggy Flat to see limestone cliffs and birdlife. Enjoy a game of bocce or relax on deck before your farewell dinner and final live music performance by Dave Freeman.
Day 5. Hahndorf and home (BL)
Return to Mannum this morning and disembark after breakfast. On your way to Adelaide, we visit the historic German-style village of Hahndorf. Enjoy a group farewell lunch followed by some free time for exploring and retail therapy before transferring to the airport for your evening flight to Perth. Upon arrival we will see you safely home.
Note: The Murray Princess itinerary may change due to water levels. A daily schedule will be provided each evening in your cabin.

Relaxed
Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

For travellers with a high level of fitness and previous outdoor experience. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access. You must be able to walk confidently for 6 or more hours per day over multiple days while carrying a day pack and be comfortable walking in varied weather conditions. Not suitable for travellers using walking aids or requiring assistance.
