Celebrate Mothers in Denmark is a relaxed three-night escape filled with indulgence, nature and warm country charm. Taste local chocolate and preserves, wander the turquoise shallows of Greens Pool and enjoy a special Mother’s Day inspired lunch at The Dam. Along the way meet friendly farm residents, sample cheeses and ciders, and uncover moving stories at Recollections of War. It is an easy-going break designed for together time and gentle discovery.
Itinerary
Day 1. Perth to Denmark (D)
Depart Perth travelling south through rolling farmland with a refreshing stop at Williams Woolshed. Continue via Kojonup and Mount Barker with time for lunch at leisure en route. Arrive in Denmark this afternoon, settle into your accommodation and share a welcoming dinner together as your post-Mother’s Day celebration begins.

Day 2. Greens Pool and Local Delights (BD)
Begin with sweet temptations at a local chocolate maker, then continue to the Denmark Good Food Factory to enjoy coach morning tea and sample preserves, sauces and ciders. Later, breathe in the coastal air at picture-perfect Greens Pool, where calm waters and granite outcrops create a serene scene. Return to town for time at leisure before a cosy dinner together.
Day 3. Countryside Tastes and Mother’s Day Inspired Lunch (BLD)
Enjoy a gentle morning in the countryside meeting friendly alpacas and pausing for coach morning tea. Visit a local distillery for a short tour and tastings before the highlight of the tour, a Mother’s Day inspired lunch at The Dam, where modern style meets natural surrounds. This afternoon, reflect on personal stories and memorabilia at Recollections of War before returning to your hotel for a relaxed evening.
Day 4. Denmark to Perth (BL)
Savour a slow start before farewelling Denmark and travelling north. Pause in Kojonup for coach morning tea and continue to Quindanning for a convivial farewell lunch. Arrive in Perth in the late afternoon where your home transfer completes a memorable getaway.

Suitable for travellers with lower mobility.
You will be required to embark/disembark coaches, trains and other transport via steps unaided. You must be able to carry your own luggage and walk short distances. Stairs may need to be negotiated at times. Travellers with walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome and those requiring accompanying assistance and/or carer may consider these holidays.

Required to walk confidently and unaided.
Expect guided walking tours of attractions with occasional inclines and stair climbs, some long days and multiple hotel changes during the holiday. Your accommodation may require access via stairs, a short walk to reach hotel facilities and have showers over baths. Travellers with walking sticks are welcome unless there is overnight rail or overnight cruising - please check with staff.
