Day 1. Perth to Adelaide (D)
We collect you from home for your flight to Adelaide. Upon arrival, meet your local guide and transfer to the centrally located Majestic Roof Garden Hotel. Unwind from your journey before enjoying a relaxed welcome dinner. Overnight: Majestic Roof Garden Hotel, Adelaide
Day 2. Adelaide Exploring (BD)
Today begins with a visit and tasting at Haigh's Chocolates, where you’ll sample their delicious, premium handmade treats. Afterwards, explore Carrick Hill, a grand heritage estate with beautiful gardens and an impressive art collection. Enjoy lunch (own expense) and time at leisure in Glenelg, a charming coastal suburb. Later, stroll through the serene Adelaide Botanic Gardens, a green haven in the city. Overnight: Majestic Roof Garden Hotel, Adelaide
Day 3. Victor Harbor (BLD)
Depart Adelaide and travel south to the beautiful seaside town of Victor Harbor. Step aboard the famous horse-drawn tram to Granite Island. This afternoon, join an immersive cruise through wetlands, sand dunes, birdlife habitats, and the Murray Mouth. A delicious lunch is served onboard while you soak in the scenery. Day 4. Kangaroo Island Ferry and Local Produce (BLD)
After breakfast, travel to Cape Jervis and board the ferry to Kangaroo Island. On arrival at Penneshaw, begin your island adventure with a tour and lunch at Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil Distillery, followed by a visit to Clifford's Honey for a taste of their delicious local products. Day 5. Flinders Chase National Park (BLD)
This morning, we venture to the west end of the island to explore the extraordinary natural beauty of Flinders Chase National Park, a vast reserve known for its diverse wildlife and dramatic landscapes. The park, covering over 30,000 hectares, is home to unique flora and fauna, including kangaroos, koalas, and the endangered glossy black cockatoo. One of our stops is the iconic Cape du Couedic Lighthouse, offering stunning views over the rugged coastline and the Southern Ocean. We will marvel at the Remarkable Rocks, a collection of ancient granite boulders shaped by wind and weather into fascinating, otherworldly formations. Next, we will head to Admirals Arch, a spectacular natural rock arch where you can often spot playful sea lions lounging below. Day 6. Kangaroo Island (BLD)
Begin your morning meandering through the unspoilt wilderness at Seal Bay Conservation Park, an exquisite destination on Kangaroo Island where thousands of Australian sea lions colonise. Embrace this exceptional nature-based experience on the sand or venture along pristine boardwalks with uncaged views of these incredible endangered species. Next, we visit the Raptor Domain to learn about resident birds of prey, including wedge tailed eagles, owls and kookaburras. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure before we rejoin for dinner at the hotel. Day 7. Murray River Cruising (BD)
This morning, return to the mainland by ferry before travelling through the famous McLaren Vale Wine Region. Upon arrival at Mannum, board the PS Murray Princess for a three-night luxury cruise. Mid-afternoon the Murray Princess departs historic Mannum, the birthplace of the Murray River trade and communication, and heads downriver while you enjoy a Welcome Dinner. As you cruise under floodlight to your overnight mooring at Murray Bridge, you may see nocturnal wildlife on the riverbank. Watch for kangaroos, hairy-nosed wombats, tortoises, egrets and many other species. Overnight: PS Murray Princess
Day 8. Murray River Cruising (BLD)
After breakfast, arrive in the river township of Murray Bridge, where you can explore local sights such as the historic Roundhouse or take the opportunity to join an optional wildlife tour at Monarto Safari Park, home to incredible open-range animal habitats (pre-booking recommended, additional cost $80 pp). Return to the PS Murray Princess for lunch, then enjoy a fascinating presentation on the food and wine produced in the Riverland region. This afternoon, continue your relaxing cruise upriver, soaking in the stunning scenery before mooring at Salt Bush Flat for the night. Begin your morning with a guided nature walk along the riverbank, where your guide will share stories and insights into the unique flora and fauna of the region. Afterwards, the PS Murray Princess continues its journey upriver towards River View Lodge. Here, board a smaller discovery vessel for a wildlife cruise through secluded creeks and wetlands, a perfect chance to spot birdlife such as darters, herons, and egrets in their natural habitat. The afternoon offers light-hearted fun with bocce or fishing challenges, before gathering in the Sturt Dining Room for a farewell dinner onboard and enjoying live music entertainment. Day 10. Hahndorf and Home (BL)
Bid farewell to the PS Murray Princess and visit Hahndorf, known for its German heritage and picturesque streets lined with artisan shops, cafés, and galleries. Here, you can immerse yourself in the quaint atmosphere and enjoy exploring its unique blend of history, culture, and local craftsmanship. Besides some leisure time for exploring, you will enjoy a German- style farewell lunch before transferring to the airport for your evening flight to Perth. Upon arrival we will see you safely home.

Suitable for travellers with lower mobility.
You will be required to embark/disembark coaches, trains and other transport via steps unaided. You must be able to carry your own luggage and walk short distances. Stairs may need to be negotiated at times. Travellers with walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome and those requiring accompanying assistance and/or carer may consider these holidays.

Expect guided walking tours of attractions with occasional inclines and stair climbs, some long days and multiple hotel changes during the holiday.
