Itinerary
Day 1. Perth to Hahndorf (D)
We collect you from home and transfer you to Perth Airport for your flight to Adelaide. Travel through the rolling Adelaide Hills to arrive at the enchanting village of Hahndorf. Settle into your hotel and later enjoy a warm welcome dinner.
Overnight each night: The Manna of Hahndorf, Hahndorf
Day 2. Hahndorf Experiences (BD)
This morning, join a local guide for a walking tour through Hahndorf’s tree-lined streets, uncovering the town’s pioneering history and quirky folklore. Later visit Hahndorf Hill Winery for their renowned ChocoVino experience — a luxurious pairing of boutique wines and fine chocolate from around the world. Enjoy time at leisure to explore Hahndorf’s craft shops, bakeries, and cafés before visiting The Cedars, the former home and studio of acclaimed landscape artist Sir Hans Heysen. Wander his preserved studio and admire the surrounding gardens.
Day 3. Monarto Safari Park and Lights of Lobethal (BLD)
Travel to Monarto Safari Park, the largest safari experience outside of Africa. From the comfort of our coach, spot giraffes, lions, rhinos and more roaming wide-open plains, guided by expert commentary. Enjoy a light lunch before continuing to Melba’s Chocolate Factory to sample traditional sweets and festive treats. This evening, enjoy dinner at the historic Hahndorf Inn before heading to Lobethal to experience its famous Christmas lights including the captivating Living Nativity display.
Day 4. Murray River Cruise and Christkindlmarkt (BL)
Today we venture to Murray Bridge and step aboard the beautifully restored Captain Proud Paddle Boat. Cruise along the iconic Murray River, soaking in scenic riverbank views while enjoying a delicious lunch onboard. In the afternoon, return to Hahndorf with a stop at Beerenberg Strawberry Farm where you can browse gourmet condiments and gifts. Tonight, explore the Christkindlmarkt — Hahndorf’s enchanting European-style Christmas market — at your own pace. Browse artisan stalls under twinkling lights, enjoy carols and festive street food, and take in the cheerful atmosphere.
Day 5. Adelaide Hills and Strathalbyn (BD)
Enjoy a relaxed morning browsing the Adelaide Hills Farmers Market or perhaps a local Christmas fair. Visit the picturesque town of Strathalbyn, known for its heritage buildings and antique shops, where you can choose from cafés and bakeries for lunch at your leisure. This afternoon, return to Hahndorf and visit the Hahndorf Academy for a guided tour. Learn about the region’s early artists and craftspeople before browsing the gallery shop for unique local creations. Tonight, gather for a farewell dinner to celebrate your final evening together.
Day 6. Adelaide to Perth (B)
After breakfast, we begin our return journey to Perth and head to Adelaide airport for your early afternoon flight. On arrival in Perth, we will see you safely home.

Suitable for travellers with lower mobility.
You will be required to embark/disembark coaches, trains and other transport via steps unaided. You must be able to carry your own luggage and walk short distances. Stairs may need to be negotiated at times. Travellers with walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome and those requiring accompanying assistance and/or carer may consider these holidays.

Expect guided walking tours of attractions with occasional inclines and stair climbs, some long days and multiple hotel changes during the holiday. Your accommodation may require access via stairs, a short walk to reach hotel facilities and have showers over baths.
