Day 1. Perth to Sydney (D)
Your Australia Day holiday begins with a courtesy home pick-up and transfers to Perth Airport for your flight to Sydney. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in the heart of Darling Harbour and settle in before enjoying a warm welcome dinner together.
5 nights: Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour, Sydney
Day 2. Sydney Icons & The Rocks (BD)
Start the day with a guided tour of the iconic Queen Victoria Building, delving into its stunning architecture, rich history, and hidden stories. Enjoy a delectable morning tea in one of the building’s charming historic tea rooms. Then, head to The Rocks for a relaxed lunch (own expense) in this vibrant and historic precinct. In the afternoon, continue your journey through time with a visit to The Rocks Museum. Conclude the day with a scenic dinner at Cockle Bay.
Day 3. Manly & Sydney SkyFeast (BD)
The day begins with a scenic ferry ride from Circular Quay to Manly Beach, where travellers can enjoy a leisurely wander along the vibrant Corso, browse local shops, or simply relax with a beachside coffee while soaking up the sea air. Lunch is enjoyed at your own pace at one of Manly’s many cafés, before the group returns by ferry to Sydney in the early afternoon. From there enjoy the afternoon at leisure. As evening falls, we head to Sydney Tower for a memorable dinner at SkyFeast — a revolving buffet restaurant where sweeping views of the city await.
Day 4. Cockatoo Island & Contemporary Art (BD)
Begin your day with a guided walking tour of Cockatoo Island, exploring its fascinating history as a former convict site and industrial hub. Afterward, return to Circular Quay for stunning views of Sydney Harbour. In the afternoon enjoy a visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art, immersing yourself in modern art and cultural exhibitions.
Day 5. Australia Day Celebrations (BD)
The morning begins with a charming Devonshire tea at The Tea Cosy in The Rocks, setting a warm and inviting tone. From there, the grandeur of the Sydney Opera House adds a touch of iconic elegance, before a relaxed midday break to enjoy lunch at your own pace. The afternoon brings inspiration at the Art Gallery of NSW, with time to unwind before the evening’s grand finale — a dazzling dinner cruise aboard the Showboat, where fireworks light up the harbour in a spectacular celebration of Australia.
Day 6. Sydney to Perth (B)
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and perhaps a final stroll around Darling Harbour before transferring to the airport for your flight home. On arrival in Perth, your courtesy driver will take you safely home.

Relaxed
Designed for travellers with lower mobility who can manage everyday movement independently. You must be able to embark and disembark coaches, trains, and other transport via steps, carry your own luggage, and walk short distances. Stairs may be encountered at times. Walking aids (sticks and walkers) are welcome. Travellers who bring a companion to help provide assistance may find these holidays suitable.

Moderate
For travellers who walk confidently and unaided. In addition to Relaxed requirements, expect guided walking tours that may include gentle inclines and stair climbs, some longer days, and multiple hotel changes. Access to accommodation may involve stairs, short walks to facilities, and showers over baths. Walking sticks are welcome unless the tour includes overnight rail or cruising—please check with staff.

For travellers comfortable with full sightseeing days. Building on Moderate requirements, these tours feature more activities, extended periods of standing and walking, and nature-based excursions. You must be able to walk confidently over uneven surfaces at a steady pace, and negotiate busy transport terminals. Expect feature walks for up to 3 hours, and activities that may include small aircraft, vehicles, vessels and watercraft. Not suitable for travellers requiring walking aids or assistance from others.

Requires good general fitness. Excursions will be over more difficult terrain and require a certain level of agility. You will be required to walk confidently for up to 3 hours over uneven surfaces including soft sand, rocky surfaces and creek crossing. Some itineraries will explore remote locations. No walkers allowed.

For travellers with a high level of fitness and previous outdoor experience. Building on Highly Active requirements, these tours involve full days of physical activity in remote or rugged locations that may be difficult to access. You must be able to walk confidently for 6 or more hours per day over multiple days while carrying a day pack and be comfortable walking in varied weather conditions. Not suitable for travellers using walking aids or requiring assistance.
