Day 1. Perth to Auckland (Inflight)
Your courtesy home collection will transfer you to Perth Airport for your overnight flight to Auckland.
Day 2. Auckland (BD)
On arrival to Auckland, be met by a Grand Pacific Tours representative and transferred to your hotel. Overnight: Grand Millennium Hotel, Auckland
Day 3. Waitangi Treaty Grounds (BD)
Enjoy a city tour of Auckland, dubbed the ‘City of Sails’, before travelling to Matakohe to enjoy a visit and informative talk at the Kauri Museum. Travel via Whangarei to Paihia, situated in the heart of the beautiful Bay of Islands. Enjoy a guided tour of the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, the location of the signing of the treaty between the Maori tribes and the British.   Overnight: Scenic Hotel, Bay of Islands
Day 4. Bay of Islands Free Day (B)
Today is a free day. Choose from the many optional activities available, including the Cape Reinga coach trip via Ninety Mile Beach or a spectacular scenic flight. This evening is also free and you may like to enjoy a relaxing dinner cruise (optional activities at own cost).  Overnight: Scenic Hotel, Bay of Islands
Day 5. Kauri Museum (BD)
This morning travel aboard a luxury catamaran to Cape Brett and the famous Hole in the Rock. Keep an eye out for bottlenose and common dolphins before returning to Paihia. Travel south via Whangarei, call into the Parry Kauri Park to see a magnificent example of a Kauri Tree before returning to Auckland.  Overnight: Grand Millennium Hotel, Auckland
Day 6. Vintage Railway (BD)
Take a nostalgic trip back in time on a beautifully restored vintage steam train then travel through magnificent countryside to Paradise Valley Springs and hand the feed rainbow trout.  Overnight: Sudima Hotel, Rotorua
Day 7. Rotorua (BD)
Begin with a Gondola ride, breakfast at Skyline Rotorua and a luge ride before heading to the Agrodome for action packed entertainment.  Later, see the boiling mud pools and awesome Geysers and experience a Maori Hangi and Concert.  Overnight: Sudima Hotel, Rotorua
Day 8. Lake Taupo (BD)
Travel the Thermal Explorer Highway to the spectacular Huka Falls and Lake Taupo, a scenic lakeside town. Following free time in Lake Taupo continue south to Wellington.

Day 9. Wellington (B)
A highlight this morning will be time to explore Te Papa, New Zealand’s National Museum with exhibits that embrace both Maori and European views. Reboard your coach for an extensive city tour. Enjoy time at leisure this afternoon and this evening is also free to explore Wellington’s lively food scene.  Hotel Grand Chancellor, Wellington
Day 10.  Interisland Ferry (BD)
Aboard the Interislander Ferry, cross Cook Strait and travel through the Marlborough Sounds.  In Picton join the Coastal Pacific, a truly spectacular rail journey that showcases the Kaikoura mountains then travel via coach to Christchurch. Overnight: Distinction, Christchurch
Day 11. Christchurch (B)
Today visit the International Antarctic Centre and take an introductory city tour of Christchurch. The afternoon and evening is at your leisure. Overnight:  Distinction Christchurch

Day 12. TranzAlpine Rail Journey (BD)
Board one of the great train journeys of the world to travel to the centre of the Southern Alps. Aboard the coach travel to Hokitika then Franz Josef to experience a scenic flight (optional at own expense, weather permitting).  Overnight: Scenic Hotel, Franz Josef
Day 13. Southern Alps (B)
See the snow-capped peaks of the Southern Alps and arrive into Queenstown, situated on the shores of magical Lake Wakatipu.  The evening is at leisure. Overnight: Copthorne Hotel and Resort, Queenstown
Day 14. Queenstown (BD)
Today is at leisure.  In the evening, board a vintage steamship to cruise Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak Station.  At the Colonel’s Homestead enjoy a gourmet barbecue dinner and a farm tour before returning to Queenstown.  Overnight: Copthorne Hotel and Resort Queenstown
Day 15. Milford Sound (BD)
Travel to Milford Sound and board the Milford Mariner for your amazing overnight cruise. View the spectacular waterfalls, rainforest, mountains and wildlife and enjoy a delicious carvery buffet.  Overnight: Milford Mariner, Milford Sound
Day 16. Te Anau (BD)
Start the day with a hearty breakfast before heading back out to the Tasman Sea (weather permitting) to explore more of the fiord. Return back to the wharf to meet your coach and enjoy the scenic drive to Te Anau where you will enjoy an afternoon at leisure.  You may like to visit the Te Anau Glow Worm Caves (optional at own cost).   Overnight: Distinction Luxmore, Te Anau
Day 17. Dunedin (BD)
Travel via Gore and Balclutha to Pukerangi to board the Taieri Gorge Limited for a journey through spectacular scenery only accessible by rail. On arrival at Dunedin’s historic Edwardian Railway Station your coach will transfer you to the hotel.  Overnight:  Scenic Hotel Southern Cross, Dunedin
Day 18. Otago Peninsula (BD)
This morning travel along the Otago Peninsula to Larnach Castle where you hear of the tragic and scandalous history on a guided tour. Enjoy time to wander around this Garden of International Significance followed by a delicious Devonshire Tea. Return to the city for an informative city tour followed by some free time. You might be interested in a tour of Speights Brewery or the chance to see wildlife in their natural habitat (optional at own cost). Tonight a Scottish evening will be presented comprising of bagpipes, great food, Haggis Ceremony and gift.  Overnight: Scenic Hotel Southern Cross, Dunedin
Day 19. Dunedin to Christchurch (BD)
This morning, visit a prestigious historic home before travelling to Oamaru, famous for its limestone.  In the evening enjoy a farewell dinner.  Overnight: Sudima Hotel Christchurch Airport, Christchurch
Day 20. Christchurch and Homeward Bound (B)
It’s time to say goodbye.  Transfer to the airport for the flight to Perth via Auckland.  On arrival we will see you safely home.
