Day 3. Cairns Iconic Experiences (BD)
At the Cairns Botanical Gardens, enter into a tropical paradise, renowned as one of the best exhibitions of tropical plants in Australia.  Learn about tropical flora and horticulture before we whisk you off to the new, state of the art Cairns Aquarium.  Before your eyes will be the incredible biodiversity of two adjoining world heritage listed areas – The Wet Tropics and The Great Barrier Reef.  Spectacular colour, shape and movement will be everywhere.  This evening it is a different pace as you relax aboard a sunset harbour cruise. Overnight: Novotel Cairns, Cairns
Day 4. Rainforest and Railways (BD)
Built over 100 years ago, the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway provides a spectacular scenic route between Cairns and Kuranda.  On your journey, wind past mountainous walls and tumbling waterfalls and through solid granite rock tunnels.  Once in Kuranda, immerse yourself in the lush greenery of the village in a rainforest.  On the return gondola journey to Cairns you will have a bird’s eye view and step into the Wet Tropics Rainforest with a ranger. Overnight: Novotel Cairns, Cairns
Day 5. Green Island (B)
Today enjoy the beauty of Green Island, part of the Great Barrier Reef.  Departing from Cairns, Green Island is just 45 minutes across the Coral Sea by catamaran.  Spend the morning on this beautiful 6000 year old coral cay located within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park.  You can choose to snorkel (at own expense), swim, stay dry or view the spectacular underwater reefs in the semi submarine or simply laze on the white sandy beach.  Overnight: Novotel Cairns, Cairns
