Day 1. Perth to Alice (D)
We collect you from home and transfer you to the Perth Airport for your flight to Alice Springs via Adelaide.  On arrival to Alice one of Australia’s most famous outback towns will greet you.  Tonight we have a special outback experience planned for you. Overnight: Aurora Alice Springs, Alice Springs
 
Day 2. Alice Introduction (BD)
This morning, tour the key sites including Anzac Hill and the Telegraph Station.  At the Araluen Cultural Precinct, engage in world class visual art, discover local identities that helped shape and develop Alice Springs and immerse yourself in the culture and heritage of Central Australia.  In the afternoon, visit the Royal Flying Doctor Service, the Pioneer Women’s Museum and the School of the Air Visitor Centre.  Overnight: Aurora Alice Springs, Alice Springs

Day 3. MacDonnell Ranges (BLD)
Travel into the West MacDonnell Ranges to witness spectacular scenery.  At Standley Chasm, stand within sheer rock walls then visit Ormiston Gorge.  This evening under the stars enjoy a gourmet BBQ dinner followed by one of the best Astronomy tours in the Southern hemisphere.  Overnight: Aurora Alice Springs, Alice Springs
 
Day 4. Field of Light Illumination (BD)
On the journey to Yulara, view the wide-open spaces and ancient landscapes of central Australia. This evening experience the Rock at sunset and the Field of Light Uluru illumination.  Critically acclaimed and created by the internationally celebrated artist Bruce Munro, the illumination is overwhelming in size. Covering more than seven football fields it will light up the desert for as far as your eye can see with colour!  Overnight: Outback Pioneer Hotel, Yulara
 
Day 5. Sunrise and the Olgas (BLD)
This morning, witness the spectacle of a sunrise over Uluru.  Following breakfast, an informative drive around the famous Uluru (Ayers Rock) monolith is followed by the steep sided domes of Kata Tjuta (Olgas). The afternoon is at leisure. Overnight: Outback Pioneer Hotel, Yulara
 
Day 6. Curtin Springs Station Tour (BLD)
A leisurely day is planned for the return journey to Alice Springs.  On the trip back we visit Curtin Springs Station which is owned by the Severin family since 1956. An oasis in the middle of a desert, discover the charm of this iconic station and enjoy morning tea. Overnight: Aurora Alice Springs, Alice Springs
 
Day 7. Alice to Perth (B)
Bid farewell to Central Australia and transfer to the airport for your return flight to Perth.  On arrival we will see you safely home.
